CLIMER, Alice (BOLDING)
Alice Bolding Climer, age 80 of Smyrna, formerly of Gordon County died Wednesday, 12/16/98. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Friday at Fair Oaks United Methodist Church with Rev. Hoyt Allan and Rev Robert Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Georgia Memorial Park. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service. She was a member of Fair Oaks United Methodist Church, also a school teacher in Gordon County and a member of Crusader Sunday School Class. FERNLEY-Alton Mack Climer, 80, died Aug. 29, 1998, at Life Care Center of Reno. A native of Batesville, Ark., he was born May 24, 1917, to Horace and Hannah Hackney Climer and lived in Fernley for the past five years, coming from Muldrow, Okla. Climer retired as owner and operator of a gas station and was a World War II Army veteran. His wife, Anna, died May 16. Surviving are daughter, Linda Sanders of Fernley; son, Donald D. Marrs of La Quinta, Calif.; a sister, of Muskegon, Mich.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. No funeral is scheduled. Burial will be at Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Fernley, under the direction of Ross, Burke & Knobel Mortuary, Reno.

Cecil Fay Climer, a resident of Los Banos since 1987, died Tuesday in Modesto. He was born June 18, 1926, in Boyington, Okla. He worked as a night watchman for S. A. Kamp Pump Co. for nine years.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Climer of Los Banos; three sons, Cecil Melton of Los Banos, Ernest Climer of Iowa and Olin Climer of Texas; a daughter, Mary Lewis of Texas; five stepchildren; and several grandchildren.
A graveside service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Los Banos District Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Watts will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel.

DAINGERFIELD, Texas--Cynthia Gail Climer, 48, of Marietta, Texas, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2001, at her home.
Mrs. Climer was born Oct. 18, 1953, in Daingerfield. She was a homemaker and a member of Veal Switch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Dana Climer. Survivors include her husband, Bobby Climer of Marietta; one son, Tracey Climer of Marietta; two daughters, Stacey Climer and Michelle Climer of Marietta; her mother, Hullne Smith of Marietta; two brothers, Donald Lovelady of Daingerfield and Jimmy Dan Lovelady of Texarkana; one sister, Peggy Bolton of Dallas; and a number of nieces and nephews. CRAIG, Neb. - Donald Charles Climer, 75, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 1999, at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church in Lyons, Neb., with the Rev. Kirk A. Erwin officiating. Burial will be in the Lyons Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Piper Funeral Home in Lyons, with the family present from 2 to 4 p.m., and at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Mr. Climer was born March 6, 1923, in Sloan, Iowa, the son of Claude and Frances (Johnson) Climer. The family moved to Thurston County, Neb., where he attended schools in Winnebago and Thurston. In 1939, the family moved to the rural Lyons area, where he attended Jefferson school and graduated from Lyons High School in 1941.
He married Eva Miller Dec. 3, 1944, in Oakland, Neb. The couple farmed in Thurston County before moving to the Bertha community north of Craig. He was a member of the Divide Center Presbyterian Church where he belonged to the Mariners and was active with the youth group. He transferred his membership to the Presbyterian Church in Tekamah, Neb., and was on the board of trustees.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Michael Climer of Denver, Colo., Randal Climer of Omaha and William Climer and his wife, Elaine, of Lyons; a brother, Verne Climer and his wife, Sally,, of Hartington, Neb.; a sister, Darlene Young and her husband, Stan, of Oakland, Neb.; eight grandchildren, Lisa Climer Brown and Melanie, Mitchell, Claude, Christopher, Claire, William and Charise Climer; two great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Robert.

Gladys Ruth Climer died Oct. 15 at Alexian Village Health Care Facility on Signal Mountain, Tenn. She was 96 at the time of her death. She was born May 4, 1902 in Ocean, Maryland, the oldest daughter of Venetta and Thomas Walters. Mrs. Climer moved to Hixson, Tenn. in 1984 and was a member of the Hixson First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon C. Climer and is survived by three daughters - Mrs. Thomas (Hope) U'Ren of Lincoln Park, Mrs. Leroy (Judith) Smith of Chattanoga, Tenn. and Mrs. Gerald (Nancy) McEvoy of Milford. Also surviving are five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Oct 18 at Lynch and Sons (Richardson-Bird Chapel) in Milford, interment was at Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia.

Henry Jones Climer, 82, of U.S. Route 50, Londonderry, died 3 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2000, in the Southern Ohio Medical; Center, Portsmouth, following a brief illness. He was born August 23, 1917, in Londonderry, to the late Edwin P. and Marie Dixon Climer, On June 14,1946, he married the former Opal S. Brown, who survives. Also surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, James Henry and Rebecca Climer, Portsmouth; a daughter, Martha E. Bolton, Waukesha, Wis.; a grandson, Steven James Henry Climer, Portsmouth; brothers David and James P. Climer, both of Chillicothe; a sister Alice Allen, Tuscon, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Kay Climer, Sarasota, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Robert D., Edwin H. and Joseph D. Climer; sisters-in-law, Mary Evelyn, Jane, Genevieve and Connie Climer; and a brother-in-law, Lloyd Allen. Henry was a graduate of Liberty Township High School and a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, having served most of his time in India. He was a member of the Londonderry United Methodist Church where was a past Sunday School teacher and Sunday School Superintendent, a retired teacher from Scioto Valley School District and a retired farmer, a charter member of Sons of American Revolution, Arthur St. Clair Chapter, a member of the DAV, the Ross County Genealogical Society, the Ross County Retired Teachers Association and was a founding member of the Scioto Valley Honor Guard. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2000 in the Londonderry United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Martin officiating. LAMPASAS--Services for James Donald Climer, 77, of Lampasas will be at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Lampasas with the Rev. Jim Woolridge officiating.

He died Wednesday, May 29, in an Austin hospice.
He was born in Hillsboro to John Franklin Climer and myrtle Ivey McDonald Climer. He graduated from the University of Texas. He was a financier in the banking industry and was a bookkeeper for a dairy business. He spent several years in New York City pursuing his interest in the theater. He served in the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1946 in Japan. He was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Lampasas. He had lived in Lampasas since 1984, moving there from Lexington, KY.
Survivors are two sisters, Florine Alexander and Mary Lou McFarland, both of Lampasas.

Family members said he loved gardening, learning new things, poker, computer games, trips to Reno, and was also always lending a hand, an ear and advice to those in need.

John T. Climer, 71, of rural Black River Falls died Wednesday evening, Sept. 27, 2000 in his home,
He was born on Aug. 18, 1929 in Black River Falls to Thor and Agnes (Pate) Climer. He was raised in the Black River Fallls area and graduated from Balck River Falls High School. He attended Haskell Junior College in Lawrence, KS.
He married Evelyn Davenport in 1960 in Black River Falls. The couple lived in Cedar Rapids, IA area for several years where he was employed at the Iowa Steel and Iron Works. He later returned to the Black River Falls area. In Recent years, he was employed by the Ho-Chunk Nation as a Ho-Chunk language teacher.
He was a member of the Ho-Cak United Church of Christ,rural Black River Falls, where he was serving on the church consistory. He was also a member of the Andrew Blackwell American Legion Post No. 129.
Suvivors include his wife, Evelyn of Ceader Rapids, IA; a daughter Janet (Randy) Donelson of Gore OK.; two sons, James CLimer of Cedar Rapids, IA, and John E Climer of Black River Falls; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Juanita Cllimer; a sister Juanita Ward; and a grandson.

Juanita Climer, 44, of Black River Falls, died Wednesday, June 14, 2000, at Black River Memorial Hospital in Black River Falls.
She was born June 19, 1955 in Black River Falls to John and Lucy (Smith) Climer. She had been employed as blackjack dealer by Ho-Chunk Nation.
Survivors include one daughter Julie (Ramiro) Rodriguez; three grandchildren, Angelica, Selina and Inez Rodriguez all of Merrillan; her father, John Climer of Black River Falls; and a very special companion, Mike Ganong of Black River Falls; and many other brothers, sister, relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Juanita June Climer were on Saturday, June 17, at 11 a.m. from the Mission Church, near Black River Falls. Eli Youngthunder and Louisa Decora officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. Relatives and friends called at the Buswell Funeral Home on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and also at the Mission Church in the morning prior to services.

Graveside services for Michael Randolph Climer, 29, of Morgan City, Louisiana, will be held Friday, June 30, 2000, at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Park, Highway 271, Gilmer, Texas, under direction of Rader Funeral Home. Officiating will be Kathleen Gillihan of Mountaintop Street Ministries with music by Butch Pelaia.
Mr. Climer was born August 12, 1970, in Arlington, Texas, and died Saturday June 24, 2000, in an offshore accident. He grew up in Longview, graduating from Longview High School and lived in Austin for six years. He was employed by Cal Dive International following graduation from Ocean Corp. School (for commercial diving) of Houston, Texas.
His interests included music, art, and creative writing and he was a Baptist.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Thursday, June 29, 2000, at the funeral home.
Mr. Climer was preceded in death by his father, Willie Roy Climer Jr. and his grandfather, Willie Roy Climer Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Janice Fursley Climer Miller; his stepfather, Bill Miller; and his brother, Eric Climer, all of Longview; stepbrothers and their wives, Mark and Karen Miller, of Longview and Randall and Sandra Miller of Lewisville; grandmother Naoma Prusley, of Longview; and Frances Climer of Gilmer; and numerous other family members.

Wilbur Eugene Climer, 61, of Columbus, died Monday morning (March 13, 2000) at his sister's residence. He was born Sept. 9, 1938, in Columbus, to Ruth (Travis) Climer and Joseph Wilbur Climer. He had worked with Alpha Industries in Delaware and for the past two years for Goodwill Industries in Columbus. He was a longtime Delaware resident and had been a Columbus resident for two years. While in Delaware, he attended Grace Brethren Church. Mr. Climer is survived by four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Barbara and Edgar Rhyan and Bessie and Wendell Nininger, all of Columbus, Rose and Fred Greenawalts of Texas, and Linda Arnold of Delaware; two brothers, Robert Climer of Delaware and Jesse Climer of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a stepfather, Delbert Arnold.
